CORPORATE VIDEOS

Corporate video production: a production company for North-East Italy

Wannaboo is a video production company founded in 2012 and based in Cornedo Vicentino (Vicenza, Italy). We make corporate, company and institutional videos for businesses and organizations in North-East Italy and across the country: from the first idea to delivery, with our own crew.

A corporate video explains in a few minutes who you are, what you do and why people can trust you. The purpose changes, the format changes; the method stays the same: start from what the company really wants to say and build the video around it.

What kind of corporate video do you need

Corporate and company presentation videos

The video that tells the story of the whole company: its history, products, people, plants and values. It usually lives on the website home page, in client presentations, at trade fairs and on social profiles. It runs a few minutes and answers three questions: who you are, what you do better than others, and why a client should choose you.

Institutional video

The video a company or organization uses to speak to an official audience: investors, suppliers, institutions, candidates, the press. Its tone is more sober than a promotional video and it talks about identity, responsibility and vision rather than single products. It is the right format for a sustainability story, an anniversary or a presentation to shareholders.

Videos for events and meetings

A video made to be screened in a room: the annual meeting, a convention, a suppliers' meeting. It is written for an audience watching together on a big screen, with cinema-grade sound and a pace that holds attention.

Videos for social media and internal communication

Short stories, vertical or square, made for LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube; or videos for employees, to show projects, values and people inside the company. They are often shot on the same day as the main video.

How we work and how long it takes

Every project follows five steps, with one fixed contact at Wannaboo from start to finish.

01

Brief

You tell us the goal, the audience and where the video will be used.

02

Idea and script

We propose the approach and write the script or outline. You approve it before we shoot.

03

Shooting

The crew comes to you (or to the chosen location) on the agreed days, disturbing the company's work as little as possible.

04

Editing

Editing, colour grading, sound, music, graphics and subtitles. We send you a first cut to comment on.

05

Delivery

Agreed revisions, then the final files in the formats you need: website, screen in the room, social media.

Typical timing. A corporate video usually takes one to two weeks. If it has to be ready for a specific date (an event, a meeting, a trade fair), get in touch a little in advance so we can plan shooting and delivery together.

What a corporate video costs depends on

We do not publish a price list, because two corporate videos are almost never alike. The cost depends on a few factors you can understand before asking for a quote:

  • Length and complexity. A video of a minute and a half and one of five minutes are not edited, or written, in the same way.
  • Shooting days and crew size. A day with one operator and a day with director, cinematographer, sound and assistants are different jobs.
  • Location and speakers. Shooting in your own departments is different from building a set; using your own people is different from involving professional speakers.
  • Post-production. Editing, colour, motion graphics, animation, 3D.
  • Music and rights. Original or licensed music, with usage rights that depend on where and for how long you will use the video.
  • Revisions. How many are planned, and at which stage they happen.
  • Languages and formats. Versions with voice over in other languages, subtitles, vertical cuts for social media, shorter versions.

After the brief we send a quote that explains what each item contains. If the budget is limited we work by reduction (fewer days, a shorter video): it is better to tell us up front.

Production company or freelance videographer?

A good freelancer is often the right choice. Here is the difference, honestly put.

Freelance videographerProduction company like Wannaboo
When it is enoughA simple video, a single shoot, a limited budget, an idea that is already clearA project with several shooting days, several people to coordinate, an image to take care of
Who worksOne person doing almost everythingA team: direction, cinematography, sound, editing, graphics, art direction
Idea and scriptOften brought by the clientWe develop them with you, from strategy to script
What you are left withThe videoThe video and, if you want, the method: with our Media House your team learns to produce on its own
CostUsually lowerUsually higher: more people and more equipment

If you need a simple video, a freelancer may be the most sensible choice. If the video represents the company in front of clients, investors or a full room, or if you need several that stay consistent with one another, a production company gives you more guarantees and more quality.

Three projects for companies

Marzotto Group: “Our people our soul”

For Marzotto Group we made a video that gives a voice to employees and tells who builds the brand's history every day, presented at the 2019 General Assembly of Confindustria Vicenza in Valdagno. For the same client we also produced a corporate video and a sustainability video. See the project

Hugo Boss: videos for the suppliers meeting

For Hugo Boss we made a series of videos for its suppliers meeting, a corporate event for the brand's network of suppliers: content designed for a specific audience. See the project

City Green Light: a series of videos in the Media House

City Green Light, a leader in sustainable public lighting, is a client of our Media House programme: we produced a series of videos including videos on diversity, equity and inclusion, product videos, case studies and corporate videos. See the project

Corporate video FAQ

How much does a corporate video cost?

It depends on length, shooting days, crew size, location, post-production, music and rights, revisions, languages and formats. We do not publish a price list because no two projects are alike: after a first conversation we send a quote that explains what each item contains.

How long does it take to make one?

A corporate video usually takes one to two weeks. If it has to be ready for a specific date, such as an event or a meeting, it is best to contact us a little in advance.

Who owns the video in the end?

The video belongs to the company that commissions it, for the uses agreed in the quote. Wannaboo may show it in its own portfolio, unless otherwise agreed. Licensed music and images have their own usage limits, and we state them in writing.

Which formats do you deliver for social media?

Besides the main video we deliver versions for LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube and for the screen in the room: horizontal, square, vertical, short and subtitled. Formats are defined in the brief, because they change the way we shoot.

Do you make videos in several languages or with subtitles?

Yes. We can prepare versions with voice over in other languages, and subtitled versions. Languages are defined in the brief.

Do you work outside Veneto?

Yes. Our office is in Cornedo Vicentino and most clients are in North-East Italy, but we work all over Italy and abroad too.

Do you need speakers or special locations?

Not always. Many corporate videos are shot in your own spaces, with your own people, and feel more authentic that way. When needed, we involve speakers or an outside location.

What does the company need to prepare?

Little: a contact person who follows us, access to the shooting locations, the availability of the people who will appear and the brand materials (logo, fonts, colours). We handle the rest.
