What is Wannaboo Academy
Wannaboo Academy is a hands-on video production training experience hosted inside companies and special locations that are normally hard to access for shooting video content.
Not a course made of slides alone: you learn in the field, shoot, edit and build a real story together with the Wannaboo team.

Why it is not an online course
People searching for a “videomaker course” mostly find online courses, recorded lessons and schools with long programmes. They are valid choices for other goals. Here is how the Academy is different.

If you want complete, long-term theoretical training, a school is for you. If you already know how to switch on a camera and what you lack is real work, with a client, a deadline and a result someone publishes, the Academy is the step that almost always gets skipped.
What you learn
Learning in the field means learning the things no demo video lets you get wrong:
- Reading a brief and understanding what the video must tell before switching on the camera.
- Shooting in a real place, with the light that is there and the time you have, choosing shots and details.
- Working as a team, with the roles of a set: who shoots, who handles sound, who directs, who edits.
- Editing for a client: rhythm, structure, social versions, subtitles, delivery.
- Using the right tools, from smartphones to more professional equipment, and some AI tools to work faster.
- Delivering: finishing the work and showing it, the part that separates people who make videos from people who try.

20 June 2026, Nervesa della Battaglia (Treviso). We spent the day at Tenuta Giusti Wine with a group of participants.
- Together with Studio Cru we defined what to tell about the brand.
- We shot among the vineyards, in the cellar and in the barrel room.
- We split the roles: shooting, sound, editing.
- We used both smartphones and more professional equipment.
- The videos were edited the same day, also with the help of AI tools.
- Some videos were published on Giusti Wine's official channels, with the names of the people who made them.
Participants got access to a reserved area with the course PDF, the videos made together and a short anonymous questionnaire. Relive the event.

Academy FAQ
Do I need experience to take part?
The Academy is for videomakers who want to work on a real set, with no rigid requirements. You do not need to have worked for clients: the Academy is precisely for that first experience. In your application you tell us who you are and what you have already shot.
What should I bring?
We tell you before the edition what to bring. In the latest edition people worked with both smartphones and more professional equipment.
How long does it last?
A day of production on set, with shooting and guided editing: the latest edition, at Tenuta Giusti Wine, was one day. The schedule of each edition is communicated with the application.
Who teaches?
The Wannaboo professionals, a video production company founded in 2012 and based in Cornedo Vicentino (Vicenza). They work every day on commercials, documentaries and corporate videos: they teach what they do.
Can I use the video I make?
Yes, in your portfolio: that is the point of the Academy. The video is made for a client, so the host company may choose it and publish it on its own channels, as happened with Giusti Wine, with the name of the person who made it.
